The LEAF OS license is a perpetual license assigned to the device used during the activation process. To transfer that license to a different device you must use NComputing's PMC Endpoint Manager software. The currently activated device must be registered with PMC. Then, using PMC you can remove the license from the currently activated device, and then you can re-use the same license key to activate the new device. When the license is removed from a device then that device immediately executes a factory reset and return the LEAF OS software to its inactivated state.
VERDE Client connections from LEAF OS are supported and require separate VERDE Seat licensing. Two license types are supported. Both are concurrent connection models:
This license type allows Remote Access connections to PCs through the VERDE Connection Broker and is the most affordable option.
Yes, devices with LEAF OS can be deployed and managed with other NComputing thin clients using the vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition (version 12.5.2 or newer).
Included in the vSpace Pro Enterprise Edition release (version 12.5.2 or higher), vSpace Console can manage a subset of LEAF OS device configurations for LEAF OS related to vSpace configuration parameters and provide integrated user session management of LEAF OS devices (e.g., Multi-View, remote view, take over, message, stop/pause).
For full LEAF OS feature set management, the separate NComputing PMC Endpoint Management solution (version 2.6.1 or higher) is required.
