We are very pleased to make our first two new product announcements for 2016 with new releases of the N-series firmware and corresponding vSpace Management Center (VMC).
These are our first releases for 2016 and throughout the year we plan to continue to enhance, innovate and improve our support for the N-series product line with new features and product enhancements.
This being January, we are very excited to be starting the year by announcing the immediate availability of both the N-series firmware 2.4.2 and VMC 3.7.17.
The new N-series 2.4.2 firmware release incorporates an update to include Citrix Receiver 13.2 together with security enhancements and many quality improvements.
VMC 3.7.17 incorporates enhancements to aid administrator’s view, edit and create device configurations and profiles, an update to the latest Tomcat server release and many quality improvements.

N-series device compatibility:
N-series firmware 2.4.2 is compatible with the following N-Series devices:
- N400
- N500
- N500w
vSpace Management Center compatibility:
N-series 2.4.2 firmware is compatible with VMC 3.7.17
Customers using vSpace Management Center (VMC) to manage their N-series devices must upgrade their VMC version to VMC 3.7.17 in order to manage the new features incorporated in the N-series 2.4.2 firmware. It is highly recommended that all VMC servers within the environment be update to VMC 3.7.17 prior to updating and N-series device firmware to version 2.4.2:
Citrix compatibility:
N-series firmware 2.4.2 supports the following Citrix environments:
- XenDesktop 5.6
- XenDesktop 7.1, 7.5 and 7.6 (Desktop and Server OS VDA)
- XenApp versions 6.5
- XenApp 7.5 and 7.6
- VDI-in-a-box 5.0, 5.1, and 5.2
